1. Introduction
Welcome to Harbour Horizon Travel. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and services. By accessing our website or booking any of our travel services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.
Harbour Horizon Travel is an Australian travel agency specializing in customized domestic and international tours. We provide tailored itineraries, accommodation booking, and full travel support for unforgettable journeys.
2. Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions:
- "We", "our", "us" refers to Harbour Horizon Travel.
- "You", "your" refers to the user or viewer of our website and/or the client booking travel services through us.
- "Services" refers to any travel arrangements, bookings, or other services offered by Harbour Horizon Travel.
- "Website" refers to the website operated by Harbour Horizon Travel located at www.harbourhorizontravel.com.au.
3. Booking and Payment
3.1 All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Harbour Horizon Travel.
3.2 A deposit of 25% of the total booking cost is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 60 days prior to your departure date.
3.3 For bookings made within 60 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.
3.4 We accept payments via credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), direct bank transfer, and other payment methods as specified at the time of booking.
3.5 All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise specified.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
4.1 Cancellation by You:
- More than 60 days prior to departure: Full refund minus the deposit
- 30-60 days prior to departure: 50% refund
- Less than 30 days prior to departure: No refund
4.2 All cancellations must be made in writing to [email protected].
4.3 Some services and special offers may have different cancellation policies, which will be clearly communicated at the time of booking.
4.4 We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that includes cancellation coverage.
4.5 Cancellation by Us:
Harbour Horizon Travel reserves the right to cancel any service due to circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to natural disasters, political instability, pandemic restrictions). In such cases, you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer your booking to an alternative date or service of equal or greater value.
5. Travel Documentation
5.1 You are responsible for ensuring that you have all necessary travel documentation, including valid passports, visas, vaccination certificates, and any other documents required for your journey.
5.2 Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your planned return date.
5.3 Harbour Horizon Travel will provide guidance on travel documentation requirements but cannot be held responsible if you are denied entry to a country due to insufficient or invalid documentation.
6. Travel Insurance
6.1 We strongly recommend that all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical expenses, personal liability, lost luggage, and other unforeseen circumstances.
6.2 Harbour Horizon Travel can arrange travel insurance on your behalf if requested, but we are not liable for any costs that may arise from inadequate insurance coverage.
7. Limitation of Liability
7.1 Harbour Horizon Travel acts as an agent for transport companies, hotels, tour operators, and other service providers. We are not liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity which may be caused by defect or default of any company or person engaged in conveying passengers or carrying out travel arrangements.
7.2 We are not responsible for losses or additional expenses due to delay, schedule changes, sickness, weather, strikes, war, quarantine, or other causes beyond our control.
7.3 Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law and in no event shall exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service in question.
8. Health and Safety
8.1 It is your responsibility to ensure that you are physically and mentally fit for travel.
8.2 You must inform us at the time of booking of any medical conditions, pregnancy, disabilities, or other information that may affect your ability to participate in your planned travel arrangements.
8.3 We reserve the right to refuse a booking or cancel a booking if we believe that your health or safety may be compromised by the travel arrangements.
9. Privacy Policy
9.1 Harbour Horizon Travel is committed to protecting your privacy. Our Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
9.2 By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to These Terms
